Pulsed
Hydraulics energy-efficient mixing technology can be used
to fill any and all of the mixing needs listed below. The
more PHi mixing you employ, the more energy you save.
Polymer
and Alum Mixing PHi’s non-sheer mixing will not break polymer chains or deactivate alum, providing a more effective product for solids removal.
Grease Cap Removal
The unique mixing forces of the PHi mixing system are proven to re-entrain the grease cap into the water for easy removal.
Chemical
Tank Mixing
With no moving parts in the tank, there is no way to damage the mixer from chemical contact.
Sludge
Tanks
Because of PHi’s unique bottom up and top down mixing forces, the PHi mixer keeps sludge completely homogenized, providing a constant quality feedstock for
dewatering.
BNR
Basins
Using a sequence of large bubble masses of air (appr. 3 per min.), PHi has been tested side-by-side with a mechanically mixed BNR basin, providing better mixing with less energy, transferring less DO.
Aeration
Basins
Adding PHi mixers to aeration basins allows operators to dramatically reduce power to the aeration blowers. Phi keeps solids in suspension, enhancing oxygen transfer by forcing aeration fine bubbles to stay in the water longer.
